Hi I'm Pat Murphy
 
I grew up in New Mexico, playing football {12 years} and started rodeoing when I was 11 years old, calf roping to start, then on to ruff stock until I was 25 yrs old. I moved to Coeur d Alene in 1980, got married in 82, and started skiing in 1983. I immediately became obsessed with the great sport of skiing!!!! I refused to take ski lessons, after 6 or 7 years of crashing on every acre of Schweitzer Mt. I went to Billy Wieden, Dean Feidler, and Tom Kingsland. Bill and Dean are still working in Schweitzer Snow Sports School.
 
I also became involved with Schweitzer Alpine Race School as a coach-USSA State Coach-4 years, then coached at Spokane Ski School Association 2 years. I came back to Schweitzer in 2000 and started competing in USSA masters races and Canadian National Masters races. I have had some rewarding race results in United States and Canada. I am working with all the great instructors at Schweitzer Snow Sports School. I will always be working to improve my own skiing and would love for you to come along with me and share the passion of the greatest sport in the world!
