Hello, I am Ray Ross, AKA "Sugar":
 
Although this is my second year at Schweitzer, I am not new to the snowsports industry or to teaching skiing. My experience comes from the Snowbowl in Flagstaff, Arizona. During the last 20 years of teaching there I attained my certifications of Alpine Level III and Telemark Level III.
 
I received my degree in Physical Education and Recreation at Northern Arizona University while spending the last 25 years in the "Four Corners" region. Growing up in northern California I skied at Lake Tahoe.
 
I'm now excited to explore the Pacific Northwest and specifically to make Schweitzer my home base. I''m looking forward to great mountain experiences with you all.
