This is a resource page for educational material for dry land study. Use the movies and images of the various drills and skills to acquaint yourself with the actual drills which you will be doing during your weekly lessons.
Links to the skills movies, skiing articles and skiing drills are posted in the menu bar to the left. The ski drills are available as a reference for practicing during the days between your actual lessons.
Since the instruction for the season follows a progression from simple to complex skills, the lessons are planned in advance by the instructors. However, these plans can change depending on the snow conditions on the day of the lesson. Fresh snow can change the focus from carving on groomed runs to powder skiing. So students should always be prepared for what the mountain playground has to offer.
